ZACH JOHNSON SINCE 2017

Zach has dedicated his life to service for his fellow citizens and communities, which is evidenced by his record.

He started his career in the assessment profession as a newly hired abstractor in the Crawford County Assessor’s office in 1999. He began his career in an entry level position, eventually working his way to Assessor in Sebastian County in 2017. He enjoyed his time in multiple office positions by focusing on various educational opportunities when presented and utilizing his time with experienced team members and mentors. Zach has over 20 years experience in property valuation and assessment practices. He is certified as a Level IV Appraiser by the state of Arkansas and has also attained his Appraisal Manager Certification. He has served as a member of the state Residential Best Practice Group and as a regional representative to the state assessment/appeals board.

Zach’s passion is and always has been service to others, but it extends far beyond his time in and around assessor offices. Zach is a 20 year veteran of the 188th Fighter Wing in Fort Smith, Arkansas. He served as an aircraft electrician on the F-16 and A-10 airframes, deploying to Iraq once (2005) and Afghanistan twice (2010 & 2012).

Zach is married to his wife Angela, with whom he has three sons, Trystan, Connor and Jordyn. He and his family are lifelong residents of the River Valley region in Arkansas.
