RENEE GILBERT SINCE 2023

I started my career in County Government in 2009 working in the Lafayette County Clerk’s Office. In 2012 I accepted a position as Administrative Assistant for the Hempstead County Judge’s Office working for two great Judges during my tenure. I chose in 2018 to relocate to the Assessor’s Office as Deputy Assessor in the Real Estate Department. I took office as Hempstead County Assessor in January 2023 with the goal to serve the citizens of Hempstead County with respect and great pride. When I’m not at work, my focus is on spending as much time as possible with my family.
