Sherri was employed in the Assessor’s Office in 2003, where I worked in every field: Personal Property, Business Personal, Real Estate, and Mapping.

I ran for office in 2010 when the previous Assessor Joy Horton retired, I was elected in 2011.

I have enjoyed every minute, love getting to know the taxpayers, some have become like family.

I am very Thankful and Grateful for this opportunity to serve as Assessor for Cross County.
