HEATHER STEVENS SINCE 2008

Heather Stevens has been continuously elected as your Stone County Assessor since November 2008. Mrs. Stevens holds a Senior Appraiser designation and an Appraisal Manager designation from the State of Arkansas Assessment Coordination Division of the Department of Finance and Administration. She also holds a Cadastral Mapping Specialist designation from the International Association of Assessing Officers. She earned an Associate of Applied Science/Information Science Technology degree from Ozarka College in 2006.

She currently serves on the Arkansas Assessors Association board in conjunction with the Association of Arkansas Counties executive board. She previously served on the Arkansas GIS board, to which she was appointed by Governor Beebe. She has served as the President, Vice President, and Secretary of the Arkansas Assessors Association.

Heather is a lifelong resident of Stone County. She enjoys spending her free time with her family playing basketball, wagon racing, rodeos and riding side by sides.
