Brannah has been working in the Mississippi County Assessor’s office since 2018 where she began working in Business Personal Property. She took office as the elected official in January of 2023.
Brannah has called Mississippi County home for almost her entire life. She was a 2007 graduate of Buffalo Island Central. Then graduated from Arkansas State in 2011 with a bachelor’s degree in journalism. Then graduated again from Arkansas State in 2017 with her Master in Public Administration.
Brannah spent six years living in Washington, DC with her husband while he was stationed at Joint Base Anacostia-Bolling as an Aerospace Medical Technician in the US Airforce. Brannah started her employment in DC as an intern for Congressman Rick Crawford in his office at the Capitol. She then moved on to work in healthcare public relations at TogoRun and then in education nonprofit at Live it Learn It. Brannah then returned to her Arkansas hometown in 2018, after her husband’s separation from the Airforce, and began working for her home county.
Brannah is married to her husband Samuel, with whom she has one daughter, Ellington. When she isn’t in the Assessor’s office, she can be found coaching competitive cheer in her community, reading a good book or spending time with her family, which includes two dogs, a cat, and a hermit crab (named SpongeBob).
